Lindsay Jolin
I discovered a passion for design at the tender age of nine, while putting together Barbie’s dream house. Never wavering from my need to be creative, I attended one of the country’s premier art schools: Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York. I graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design. After working at residential and commercial design firms in New York and Maine, I landed in Portland and discovered the perfect blend of my small Maine hometown and the big city I grew to love. I joined the team at Old Port Specialty Tile Co. in early 2011. As a “Jill of all trades” on any given day, you might find me writing estimates, researching products and installation methods, guiding customers through the showroom, drawing and designing tile layouts, or any number of other tasks. In the Spring of 2017, I became the Assistant Manager of OPST, a role that allows me to work with the Capozza’s and contribute to the growth and expanding vision of the whole company. When I’m not rifling through tile displays in the showroom you might find me buried in a good book, working on some craft project, or belting out show tunes.
