Katie Capozza

I joined the team at Old Port Specialty tile in 2005 as assistant to the showroom manager and ever since it has been a wonderfully evolving journey in the world of everything tile. Over the years I have flourished in the industry, experiencing some of the most exciting and innovative trends of the specialty tile and stone business.  I guess you could say it was no accident I ended up in “the biz” as tile has always had a large presence in my life.  My grandfather started our parent company over 40 years ago, then in 2000 my father decided to delve deeper into the growing world of specialty and custom tile offerings and Old Port Specialty Tile was born.

Today, I serve as the Showroom Manager and Senior Project Manager for many of our beautiful projects, and am honored to be a part of them.  As we transition into the third generation of our family business I am also very involved in the leadership team for both stores, working alongside my parents, siblings and most loyal, long term employees.  I’m passionate about the industry and collaborating with our clients and vendors.  I very much enjoy working with the medium of tile, but most importantly I have a great respect and appreciation for the relationships we’ve been fortunate enough to develop with our clients over the years and I look forward to many more to come!
