Jamie Vail

I joined the team in 2022 as a project manager but before that I owned and operated a design build company flipping houses, doing additions and remodels and everything in between. Prior to that I was Vice President of Project Management for a global credit card processing company with teams all over the country. Having run many projects from inception to completion and installing tile first-hand made for a smooth transition to Old Port Specialty Tile Co. As project manager I conduct on-site visits to ensure the end-product is being delivered to the customers’ satisfaction while also setting up the next batch of projects to be completed. Attention to detail is paramount in the tile business and something I apply to all projects regardless of the scope. As a self-described “tile nerd” I often find myself spending way too much time looking at tile while out and about. Having a hand in some of the most impressive tile projects in the state is truly rewarding.

My fiancé and I live in Scarborough parenting our blended family of four kids and the strangest looking dog (dachshund/black lab) you’ve ever seen. We love taking advantage of all the amazing food and drink Portland has to offer, trying new restaurants and visiting the old classics whenever possible. Summer is our favorite time of year when we can visit Peaks Island where I grew up and still have family roots. We also enjoy taking our boat through the Scarborough marsh around the Pine Point and Ferry Beach area.
