Katie Capozza

I began my journey in the tile industry in 2006 as an assistant at Old Port Specialty Tile, and what started as a support role quickly grew into a lifelong passion. Over the past two decades, I’ve had the opportunity to grow with the business- immersing myself in the ever-evolving world of specialty tile and stone and shaping my career alongside the evolution of our family business.

Tile has always been a part of my life—my grandfather founded our parent company over 50 years ago, and in 2000, my father expanded into the world of custom and specialty tile with the creation of Old Port Specialty Tile. Today, I’m proud to co-own and lead the business with my brother and sister, overseeing operations, creative direction, and our incredible team across multiple divisions.

As the third generation of our family steps into leadership, I remain deeply committed to craftsmanship, client relationships, and curating high-quality, design-forward materials that inspire. I continue to collaborate closely with our dedicated staff, clients, and vendor partners—always with a focus on thoughtful growth, integrity, and honoring the relationships that have sustained us. The journey has been remarkable, and I look forward to continuing to shape our future in the tile industry, one beautiful project at a time.

I live in Portland, Maine with my husband and our two young children. I love this city—its creativity, its coastal charm, and the sense of community we’re proud to be part of, both personally and professionally.
