Thomas Daniels

I am a third-generation custom tile installer. Apprenticed under my father, I first developed my dedication to high quality tile installations, precision, and attention to detail, as well as the skills that enable successful collaboration with customers and contractors. Over the next thirteen years I honed my tile and stone craft as well as obtaining some supplemental experience in general contracting and other trades. The last several years my career was focused exclusively on creating beautiful tile spaces for my customers.

Now at Old Port Specialty Tile I am bringing all this experience to my position as the field operations manager. My role here is twofold. First, to support our project managers in taking the customer’s vision into reality in their homes and other spaces. Second, to support our installation teams by ensuring correct scheduling, site preparation, and follow-up, knowing the unique challenges that inevitably arise when bringing a design from paper to life.

Outside of work I am with my beautiful wife and my four amazing kids, at our cozy home, on various outdoor adventures, at our local parish church, with friends and family, or in a good book.
