Key Responsibilities:

  • Regular interaction with designers, architects, contractors, and end users to assist their project needs.
  • Follow all estimating, bidding, and selling practices established by the company.
  • Work as a liaison between the sales team and the field.
  • Contract review to ensure that the scope of work is recorded properly, and terms and conditions of the contract are agreeable.
  • Project Management assistance on large projects from initial estimate to completion of install w/ high level of attention to installation coordination and detail.
  • Review work completed on-site for proper installation and progress.
  • Review weekly work reports and other project expenses.
  • Perform other related duties as required to ensure a safe workplace, quality construction and timely completion of each project.
  • Strong mathematical ability, exceptional organizational and communication skills, and a team first attitude are a must.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Analyze and comprehend construction documents (ie. floor plans and specifications) to provide complete and accurate proposals in a timely fashion.
  • 2+ years’ experience in a similar position within a commercial construction environment, commercial flooring knowledge a plus!
  • Previous customer facing and operations experience.
  • Experience in project scheduling and coordination, project management, and general construction practices.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
  • Highly organized, motivated self-starter with the ability to set and achieve goals.
  • Ability to work alone or as part of a team in a fast paced, time sensitive environment.
  • Ability to multitask and effectively manage change.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, web-based applications, and can quickly learn new flooring software utilized throughout our company.
  • Ability to work in the office and travel to customer sites as needed
