While we hire on an as-needed basis based on project demand, we regularly accept applications from qualified professionals who want to be a part of our growing team and culture. If you have construction experience that is great, if you have flooring experience even better. If you have no experience but are looking to get into a trade or change careers we would like to talk to you as well.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Commercial Flooring Project Engineer to join our team. This role is responsible for coordinating, documenting and reporting on the jobsite activities of commercial flooring projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will work closely with Capozza project managers, general contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams to facilitate smooth project execution while maintaining compliance with safety and industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: 2+ years in construction project management, flooring installation, or a related industry. Experience in commercial flooring is a plus.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of commercial flooring materials, installation methods, and industry best practices.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with project management software (e.g., Procore, BuildingConnected), Microsoft Office Suite, Jobrunner, Floorcloud, and busybusy and others.
- Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Certifications (Preferred): OSHA 30, LEED Accreditation, or other industry-related certifications.
- Other Requirements: Ability to travel to job sites, work in various environments, and lift/move materials as needed.
