Commercial Project Manager

Capozza Floor Covering Center is seeking a professional and highly motivated Commercial Project Manager to join our team. We provide all types of flooring to all sectors of the commercial marketplace. We work directly with end users, architects, designers, and general contractors on prominent commercial flooring projects all over Maine. Our family-owned business is seeking a full-time project manager who is knowledgeable of the commercial construction process, detail-oriented, hardworking, and driven.
Duties Include:
- Analyze and comprehend construction documents (ie. floor plans and specifications) with estimator to provide complete and accurate proposals in a timely fashion.
- Regular interaction with designers, architects, contractors, and end users to assist their project needs.
- Follow all estimating, bidding, and selling practices established by the company.
- Contract review to ensure that the scope of work is recorded properly, and terms and conditions of the contract are agreeable.
- Manage project from start to finish with aid of the Capozza Commercial Division Team.
- Review work completed on-site for proper installation and progress.
- Review weekly work reports and other project expenses.
- Perform other related duties as required to ensure a safe workplace, quality construction and timely completion of each project.
- Strong math skills, exceptional organizational and communication skills, and a team first attitude are a must.

Desired Skills and Experience:
- 2+ years’ experience in a similar position within a commercial construction environment.
- Previous personnel management and operations experience.
- Experience in project scheduling and coordination, project management, and general construction practices.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
- Highly organized, motivated self-starter with the ability to set and achieve goals.
- Ability to work alone or as part of a team in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
- Ability to multitask and effectively manage change.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, web-based applications, and can quickly learn new flooring software utilized throughout our company.
