I fell in love with tile design unexpectedly when I took a showroom position in 2003, while I attended SUNY Brockport and studied Radio and TV Broadcasting in Rochester, NY. It did not take long to realize that tile was my true passion. In 2007 I decided to head back to my small town roots in Greenwich, NY where I continued my tile journey, working for a tile distributor and a local family tile store. In May of 2015 my wife and I decided to make our dreams of living in Maine come true. I joined the Old Port Specialty Tile team as a Senior Project Manager where they welcomed me with open arms. I brought with me my knowledge of AutoCAD to develop 2D drawings to help my clients visualize tile layouts. To me tile is beautiful, yet functional, trendy but classic and I enjoy guiding my clients through their unique project, big or small.
My wife Becca and I, along with our dog Bailey, are captivated by Maine’s beautiful ocean views. We have a passion for lighthouses and enjoy traveling the coast to learn about Maine’s rich history. I also sing in a local women’s Barbershop chorus.
